Those special pieces might be different, or the colors in my template might not match your game board as nicely as you’d like. It seems the Candy Land game is prettier or fancier than the board I played with as a kid. Everything on the layout is “locked down” (cannot be moved) EXCEPT the text place holders where you get to type in your own words. So I developed a template that can be used and modified over and over again. I couldn’t find something that had the kind of words I wanted something that contained the specific skills we are working on. One of my colleagues shared the idea with me last school year and people share their own creations on Pinterest. The idea of putting words on a Candy Land cards is not my idea. When you put sight words, CVC words, numbers, etc on the cards, the kids have to read or identify what is on the card before they move their pieces. ![]() ![]() Everything about the rules and objective of the game stays the same – draw a card on your turn and move according to the color/number of squares on your card. I created a template that goes along with the Candy Land game. Who says school can’t be fun and games? □ /candyland Kids love games! One of my favorite things is hearing the shrieks and squeals when the kids walk in the classroom and see a BINGO game or board game set up for one of the centers. ![]()

11/8/2022 0 Comments Flight simulator pc game review![]() It’s essentially a big series of fetch quests but without anything in your way and to make things worse, the early missions all take place on the same three islands so you’ll be doing literally the same thing for hours until the missions extend to the other islands. So really what you get is just those airplane stages from Pilotwings but without the rings to fly through or any kind of scoring based on your landing. It’s actually pretty forgiving when it comes to the impact of landing, the only real danger comes from not having enough time to brake and stay on the runway. The only trickiness comes when you arrive as it is quite possible to mess up your landing. Aside from that though, you may as well be on autopilot. You could leave the joypad on the sofa next to you but your plane has a weird habit of automatically pitching upwards which ultimately makes you stall (but you can save yourself pretty easily). After that you pretty much point yourself in the right direction at which point you’ve got a bit of a wait as the plane coasts to your destination. You press X to turn on the engine, RT to accelerate and pull back on the left stick to get airborne. You can spend money on new planes and upgrades but the flying is always the same. Fly to one island, pick up your cargo, fly it to another island, pick up the cash, go back to the main island to refuel and get your new job. ![]() ![]() You start on the main island and here you can upgrade and fuel your plane and take job assignments. In the game’s relatively compact map there are twelve little islands. The game has you playing as a nameless pilot (actually you are named in the game after your PSN identity and can’t change it) based in some sort of ocean location. And by differences we mean stuff that is missing. Flying around that beautiful green island was a joy and so we were pretty keen to try out Island Flight Simulator, which definitely has some parallels to the 16-bit classic flight game but, crucially, a lot of differences. While the likes of Mario and Zelda get all the plaudits, the best game on the SNES was Pilotwings. ![]() Jin PS4 tagged island flight simulator / job / pilot / planes by Richie ![]() 11/8/2022 0 Comments Homeworld the beast![]() ![]() It can be read as a stand alone and any of the books can be read in any order. Can she find the right type of alphahole who can also be the kind of man to give her everything she ever wanted? Lucky for her, one doesn’t find an alphahole. Overview The Beast is a physical manifestation of fear. They scuttle their ship, taking out any other ships in the immediate vicinity (this includes yours, so stand well back). The only problem is that she wants a man who chooses her. First appearance 'Epiphany' The Beast was a creature that was created over time by the People of the Cloister. In spite of the fact that youve cut the Beast ships off at the source and you and your allies have by far the upper hand, the Bentusi bottle it as soon as the Beast heavy cruiser appears.
